I have had this for several years, used it countless time, and still love it. It has never failed me in my hours of need! I can't even count the number of cups of coffee this has made for me, I even use it to brew the perfect amount of hot water for hot cocoa and tea.

Gevalia® Basic Coffee for Two
Does it only brew 14oz or can you brew 8oz for just a cup of coffee?
It brews how ever much water you put in it. Just remember if you are brewing one cup, it brews on the left.

Can only one cup / one side be brewed at a time?
yes, if you turn the selector to one cup, it will only brew the left side. I leave the cups under each side just in case i forget to change cup selector :)
