does it chop ice up good or does ice stop it from working/get stuck?

most blenders like the one i have now has trouble chopping up my ice cubes and frozen fruits it stops the blades from turning to were i turn it off stir it up maybe add some juice to it turn it back on and repeat all these steps until finally it has made my smoothie. can you tell me how this one will work for me and what size motor does it have and are the blades stainless steel , just looking for one i can make smoothies with out all the trouble that im having at this time thanks.shawn
