I use thee mugs everyday and they are large enough for a big coffee, tea, or cocoa. You can stir sugar and cream and not worry about the stainless steel spoon stir marks that can sometimes occur around the bottom of the cup. The make up these cups are a high quality clay and glaze. Handle is a nice fit for the hand. Shape very pleasing. These are a winner.

How many ounces does each mug hold?
Mugs easily hold12 oz. However they will take 16 oz. but that is very close to the top so be carefully stirring in cream and sugar!

I have had a mug for several years that I love. Are these still made with a thin drinking surface? I don't like thick mugs.
The rim feel to the lips is wonderful. Not too thin or too thick, just right!
