I was SO excited to try this product when I found it at my local store. I LOVE Gevalia's k-cups so much already. It is by far my favorite (my go-to regular coffee) and does not have a bitter taste like another main company that sells many flavors. So as you can imagine I was quite excited when I found this new one!! You add the mocha/froth packet first in the cup then put it onto the Keurig & brew the kcup over the powder & mix. It froths right up.
Before prepping, I read on the box "sweeten to taste" so I expected it to not be sweet at my first sip but I wanted to try it before adding sugar. After I tried it I put the cup down and grabbed the box in disbelief because I could taste fake sweetener and sure enough... sucralose! (The sucralose did not make it sweet, it still had a strong flavor) I decided to add sugar and see how I felt about it after a little while. It does have a nice flavor when you're drinking it but a terrible after taste after you swallow. (If you are ULTRA sensitive to the taste of sucralose you may taste while you drink it as well.)
It does come out frothy like the picture & stays frothy.
This 2 step idea was genius for k-cup lovers like myself who are always on the hunt for the next kcup flavor. I love mochas and lattes so this was a very exciting product as well & people love exciting products! I'm just really disappointed that they added sucralose as it has such a strong fake sugar flavor. SO many people are against sucralose these days too that I'm surprised they didn't just omit it all together. I absolutely love Gevalia's regular coffee so I'll deff keep buying those. I'm not sure I'd buy this one again though. :( I hope they keep trying though because they are the best by far!

You're very welcome Shocky!! I wanted SOO badly to like this. I have to admit I never even finished my first cup. I still have several friends who are curious so I'm going to give the rest of my box out as samples so they can see for themselves. I TRULY hope Gevalia takes their formula into consideration as there is another kcup hot cocoa on the market that is blue and that one tastes good and has sugar. I emailed them that they should look into the type of formula they have & really consider changing. Gevalia alone has a great name for themselves but this one was a step back. Hopefully they change it! :)

Oh & if you scroll up half way, go to the Q&A tab, I replied to a question & uploaded a picture of the side of the box that also has the nutrition info if anyone want to see all the ingredients.
