Length of use:Within last year
Take Gevalia:With milk and sugar
I am a huge Starbucks fan and was so excited when Starbucks got decaf K-cups. I have been drinking one Starbucks everyday since the decaf K-cups became available but that is going to change. I got the Gevalia through an offer. I planned to get the offer and then cancel the auto-ship. However, to my surprise, the Gevalia decaf K-cup is MUCH better than Starbucks. I just wished they offered a little better pricing as I am used to paying about 52 cents a cup even for Starbucks as I wait for the sale prices and stock up. Never the less, this is the best decaf I have ever had... period.
Yes, I recommend this product.

BAGGED VS. K-CUPPED COFFEE

I'm trying to figure out which is more cost efective, whether buying the k-cups, or buying the bagged coffee. However, in the bag, you can tell the net coffee weight, because it's all ground coffee within it. Yet, in the k-cup, the net weight stated in the box is 6.2 oz, what would make almost 3 18Ct boxes to make up a lb of coffee, whereas, with bagged coffee it would take 2 8-oz bags to conform a lb of coffee. This would be, cost-wise, roughly $30 for the k-cups, Vs. only $16 for bagged coffee.
Does my analysis make any sense? Or, am I ommitting any critical difference (i.e., the coffee concentration) between the two venues?
It makes sense. You do pay more for K-cups but you are paying for ease of use, the ability to switch flavors/ brands with each cup and no mess clean-up. Of course, you can use ground coffee with your K-cup machine so if you don't mind the hassle you can save a bunch.
