Perfect for the single coffee/tea drinker

I got this with the free offer over 5 years ago and I still use it every day. The coffee comes out very hot which is not the case with most coffeemakers. I brew into the insulated mugs it came with and also 2 other Gevalia insulated mugs that I've had even longer (though those have finally died recently) and the Gevalia cone cups fit into this machine just as well. I drink coffee in the morning and use 2 tea bags in the cone to brew ice tea many afternoons. Love it!

I just used this for the first time and it is wonderful! I made a rum/craisin/apple pie with 3 pounds of thin-sliced apples and it all fit in nicely with no overflow during baking. It is also beautiful on the dessert table. I highly recommend it!

Gevalia® Basic Coffee for Two
Can this also be used for tea?
I want to get a wedding gift but she drinks coffee and he prefers tea. Can tea be used on one side while coffee is used on the other?
I place 2 tea bags across the bottom of the cone, or you can brew loose tea in the same paper filter as for coffee. I have also run the hot water straight into a cup with tea bags in the cup. Yes you can brew coffee on one side and tea on the other as only the hot water is coming through. It's a great product!
