Love everything about this except that it likes to leak coffee grounds into my coffee YUCK! A simple solution is one of the fine mesh metal washable filters. I got my maker back from my sis minus the filter :( But otherwise, awesome!!! I have the black & love how it matches everything else in my kitchen!

I have no issues with it leaking but the flap that covers the drinking hole is no where near as secure as I would like. I use this one at home as I have a toddler & coffee loving feline. But for away, I will continue to search for one I can toss in my backpack & go.

I got this as a gift. I loved it until this mornong. There is water trapped in between the outer shell & inner shell. It won't come out except for a small drip when it is on it's side. So now it is laying on a towel to dry. It kept my coffee hot for about 2 hours. But I rarely drink my coffee hot. I prefer iced. It does an A+ job at keeping my coffee cold (I mix the coffee & creamer in here) for about 5-6 hours if I put the carafe in the fridge to cool the hot coffee. My biggest issue is that it is a nightmare to clean.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Is this all steel or is there another type of lining inside?
There's some type of thermal plastic inside.
